'57 Re-issue Stratocaster in Alfreton, Derbyshire for sale

I am selling this '57 re-issue Fender Stratocaster. I received this guitar from an ex-player (friend of the family) who had sadly had a stroke and could not play any more. I gave him £400 for the guitar, but I have no use for it as it doesn't produce a sound fitting for heavier branches of rock and I would end up wrecking it. It is in perfect condition and has been taken very good care of, besides rusty saddles which have been replaced (see below). The purchase will include a Freestyle custom Stratocaster hard case, a Levi's Strap, original tremolo arm, and the original manufacturer's ticket (all pictured). In addition to this, I have just collected this guitar from a full works pro-set up costing £90 (£75 for the set up and £15 for salvaged original authentic 'Fender' engraved saddles). In this service, Andy Farrell (search 'Andy Farrell Guitar Nottingham' in Google) has done the following: - The rear cover has been replaced with an original style cover with oval holes (pictured) to maintain authenticity. - The frets have been treated and polished to enhance playing and wear. - The magnets in the pick-ups have been tweaked and positioned for an optimum sound. - The original authentic 'Fender' engraved saddles have been replaced with another set, which were hard to find, as they are not made any more. - The bridge has been set to the body to accommodate modern string tensions.
